Stingers are available in three depths: 50mm, 60mm and 90mm. The Stinger 50 is ideal for road racing. At 50mm it is much faster than more traditional road wheels, but not so deep that bike handling will be any concern on windy days.
The 60 and 90 Stingers are excellent for TT use. Both use our patented torodial rim shape - the rim cross section is slightly wider in the middle of the rim than at the brake surface. This shape directs airflow off the rim with less turbulence than a flat sidewall rim section. The wheel has less drag, and is faster.
All stingers are built with sonic hubs, bladed 6/4 ti spokes front, and bladed steel spokes rear. 700c Only
