Disc production is slow right now. We are on an 8 week backlog. Thanks for your patience, and watch for the new Jetdisc, coming soon.
Wind tunnel testing at the Texas A&M facility has proved the disc to be the most aerodynamically efficient of all the HED wheels. This has also been corroborated by independent tests at Bath University England, which confirmed the advantages and benefits that a lenticular disc has over flat discs. The lenticular shape smoothes the disturbed air produced by the rider and crosswinds, so airflow leaving the wheel surface is less turbulent than on a flat disc or wire spoked wheel. A reduction in turbulence is an increase in speed.
The HED disc is available in both clincher and tubular, rear only, 700c and 650c. Shimano compatible cassette or as a single speed track version. Weight limit 200lbs.
