Hed 3 - Carbon Rim

The H3C wheel came about when the top teams in the pro peloton wanted a lighter TT wheel. It seemed like a reasonable request, so we made it. The shape is unchanged from our standard H3 wheel, but for the all carbon model we have replaced the aluminium rim with carbon. The result? 170g less rotating mass, still the most aerodynamic spoked wheel in the world. Simple and perfect for against the clock performance.

Available in tubular only, 650 or 700. Shimano cassette or fixed gear. Hubs are wheel-specific, two sealed bearings on the front wheel, one sealed cartridge on the rear non-drive side and ¼” loose ball-bearings on the drive side. We recommend carbon specific brake pads for the H3C.
