It's why aerobars were invented in 1987. It is why the Hed Vantage 8 was invented in 2007. Like Boone Lennon's original aerobars, the design of Hed's V-8s is solidly grounded in aero positioning.
The fastest TT riders do it by striking the perfect balance between aero position and power output. The best aerobars are adjustable enough to get every rider into their optimum position.
Hed V-8s have 8 separate adjustments for rider positioning. Riders can dial in wrist tilt and roll, grip distance, armrest position in X,Y,and Z planes, overall extension width, and extension tilt. Since you use your own stem, fit can be further refined for height and reach.
If you can't get fit perfectly on the V-8 maybe you should consider rowing.
