Hed Corsair Aerobar

UCI 3:1 aspect ratio compliant.

The knowledge that went into designing this bar comes from two places:  One is Steve Hed’s deep grounding in cycling aerodynamics, one that comes from 25 successful years of designing and building the fastest wheels in the world.

Second, over the past five years we have fit dozens of top-level road cyclists and triathletes in the wind tunnel. We can’t name names, but when we say “top-level” we’re not referring to dominant regional age groupers. Among these athletes are Tour winners, World champions, and Hawaii ironman winners.  Our original aerobar was designed on the premise that there are specific parameters for fit that nearly everyone should use. Five years of notes from fitting proves to us that within those parameters every rider needs the freedom to adjust grips, tilt, width, and reach to get to their own fastest aero position.

Naturally the Corsair has the adjustability to get every rider to optimum fit.

As with the three previous iterations of Hed’s aero bar, the Corsair is lighter (585g), stiffer (6% less flex at a 100lb load), and more refined (more comfortable armrests, stronger alloy hardware).

All with a UCI legal 3:1 aspect ratio. And super cool paint.
